YoPaws was created from firsthand experience living and working with an assistance dog. This perspective shapes a human first approach that understands disability, fluctuating capacity, and the realities of training and handling a dog in everyday life.

Yevette Ho is the Founder of YoPaws, offering ethical and disability aware guidance across assistance dog, therapy dog, and pet dog journeys. Her work is informed by lived experience as an assistance dog handler and focuses on helping people navigate suitability, dog selection, and sustainable partnerships with clarity and confidence.
Yevette brings a practical, force free approach shaped by real-world handling, welfare focused decision making, and an understanding of the challenges faced by owner trainers and disabled handlers outside traditional systems.
Her practice is disability-informed and NDIS-aware, supporting individuals, families, and owner-trainers developing safe and reliable dog–handler partnerships.
